Baby Ripple dress Pattern



Baby Ripple Dress


Sport Weight Yarn
size G hook
**(Please remember that different yarns, different size hooks and also depending on your tension this pattern will come out to different sizes.)

Bodice:
Row 1.) With size G Hook, ch 39, dc in 4th ch from hook, dc in next 3 ch, *(1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in next ch)*, dc in next 6 ch, repeat *( )*, dc in next 10 ch, repeat *( )*, dc in next 6 ch, repeat *( )*, dc in last 5 ch.
Row 2.) Ch 2, turn, *(dc to next ch sp, 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in ch sp,)* Repeat to end.
Rows 3.-4.) Repeat row 2
Row 5.) ch 2, turn, dc to ch sp, 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in ch sp, *(dc in next st, 5 dc in next st, dc in next st, sk 2 st)* repeat twice at the end of the third one only sk 1 instead of sk 2, 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in ch sp, dc across to next ch sp, 1 dc, ch1, 1 dc in next ch sp, sk 1 dc and repeat *( )* ending this one without skipping any st, 1 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in ch sp, dc across to the end.
Row 6.) ch 2, turn, dc to ch sp, 1 dc in ch sp, Ch 4, skip sts to next ch sp, 1 dc in ch sp, dc to next ch sp, 1 dc in ch sp, Ch 4, skip next sts to next ch sp, 1 dc in ch sp, dc to end. ( Armholes made)
Row 7.) ch 1, turn, sc across to end.
Skirt:
Row 8.) ch 2 turn, sk 1 st, *(1 dc in the next st, 5 dc in the next st, 1 dc in the next st, sk next 2 st)* Repeat across ending with sk 1, dc in the last st.
Row 9.) ch 2 turn, sk 1 dc, *(dc in the next 2 st, 3 dc in the next st, dc in the next 2 st, sk 2 st)* Repeat to the end, ending with sk 1, dc in top of turning ch.
Rows 10-18.) Repeat Row 9
Row 19.) ch 2 turn, sk 1 dc, *(dc in next 2 st, 5 dc in the next st, dc in next st, skip 2 st)* Repeat across ending with sk 1, dc in top of ch. Do not Fasten off go on to do the trim.

Trim
ch 1, turn to go up the side do 2 sc in the end of the dc rows to the top, 3 sc in corner, sc around neck to next corner, 3 sc in corner, do 2 sc in the end of the dc rows to the bottom, fasten off, weave in end. (of course you may trim this the way you would like to)
Ties:
Ch 35 sl st to the top right corner, sl st down the side to the bottom of the bodice, ch 35, end. For the left side I ch 35, sl st to the bottom of the bodice and sl st to the top, ch 35, end. I tie the ends with a tight knot making sure to catch the loose yarn and then cut the excess yarn off.
